According to the folk calendar - Trofim and Zosima

On this day, Christians honor the memory of Saints Zosimus of Cilicia and Trophimus of Sinada. Zosima was popularly considered the patron saint of bees. From this day on, beekeepers prepared for winter by moving their hives into a warm winter hut. October 2 was sometimes called the Tasty Table. Housewives prepared baked goods with honey and treated their households and neighbors to it.
