Holidays 5 july
Around each of us there is a person who is so absorbed in work that he sacrifices many other areas of life for it. Workaholics place professional duties and careers above friendship, the interests of family and loved ones. They spend a lot of time at work, forgetting about simple but much-needed joys for a person - meetings with parents, games with children, dates, going on picnics and birthdays. July 5th is Workaholics Day. The funny Workaholics Day was invented to draw the attention of people whose goal in life is only fulfillment at work, to an unhealthy dependence on it. Workaholics are highly valued by bosses as trouble-free, responsible and efficient employees. However, overwork and refusal to rest on weekends and during vacations have a negative impact on people’s health. Workaholics suffer from psychosomatic problems and a number of nervous system diseases. Dependence on work has a bad effect on relationships with people around you and your personal life, leading to loneliness. The term “workaholic” was coined in 1971 by American psychologist Wayne Oates. With it, he outlined the uncontrollable human need for continuous work. Addiction leads to low concentration, emotional exhaustion, neuroses and depression, the development of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. Work-obsessed people who work more than 40 hours a week have metabolic syndrome, a metabolic disorder associated with obesity. Workaholics Day calls for attention to the consequences of this unhealthy addiction. You need to learn to control your manic passion for work in order to preserve your own health and relationships with loved ones. To do this, experts recommend that workaholics start doing something distracting and at the same time exciting: remember an old hobby or come up with a new one, start a tradition of visiting parents weekly and meeting friends in a cafe. In addition, it is useful to think about what is associated with manic dependence on work. Extrinsic motivation is often money and status achieved through hard work. Intrinsic motivation is passion for what you do, having an inclination and even talent for it. It is associated with diligence, perseverance and optimism, which work as a defense mechanism in case of professional failures. It is advisable for workaholics to try to find a balance that will fill their existence with not just one, but many meanings. Ideally, you need to achieve life harmony, which is colorfully described in the famous expression: “Happiness is when you happily go to work in the morning, and happily return home in the evening.”
World Bikini Day is one of the funniest and piquant holidays, which is celebrated annually on July 5th. The date of the celebration was not chosen by chance and is associated with the demonstration of a new swimsuit model in 1946. The author of a beach outfit that was revolutionary for its time was the Frenchman Louis Réard. The designer used a minimum of fabric for the swimsuit, calling it “Bikini” in honor of the coral island where the United States tested a thermonuclear device 4 days before the fashion show. Louis Réard's model really made a bombshell in the world of prêt-à-porter. The consequences of this “explosion” still determine the trends in the development of beach fashion. Despite the success of the fashion show, the new product did not immediately become a success among the fair half of humanity. It was believed that such a model would not suit “a girl who observes tact and decency.” Revealing swimsuits have long been banned on European beaches. The popularization of the bikini was facilitated by its demonstration at the Miss Italy competition in 1950 by Sophia Loren, in 1953 by Marilyn Monroe in the film Niagara, in 1956 by Brigitte Bardot in the film And God Created Woman. Today, a two-piece swimsuit with panties consisting of two triangles connected by a strip will not surprise anyone. This is interesting: Louis Réard could not find a professional fashion model who would not refuse to appear in public in a bold for 1946, one might even say shocking attire. A dancer from the Casino de Paris, the oldest music hall in France, founded in 1730, agreed to the bikini demonstration. Throughout the entire existence of the miniature model, couturiers have not ceased to improve the appearance of the swimsuit. Thus, designers offer girls and women to purchase solar-powered bikinis. You can use it to charge your phone or tablet. An inflatable bikini, or rather its upper part, acts as a life preserver that prevents you from drowning. The Get Naked model of a water-soluble swimsuit is a great idea for a joke, sewn from bubble polyethylene - a reason to rip the material directly on the girl’s body. Designers of the 20th century They produce models with a bra that looks like crossed male arms, as well as panties with a UV sensor attached to the strap. For status parties taking place on the sand right at the water's edge, a bikini in the form of a tuxedo was invented. Fashionistas who are ready for any experiments put on an aquarium swimsuit with goldfish swimming in the bra cups. This is interesting: Before Réard, the miniature swimsuit was presented to the public in 1932 by couturier Jacques Heim. He called his model “Atom” (from the Greek atomos - indivisible), thereby emphasizing that there is no less, nothing further. Réard used even less fabric for his swimsuit. His provocative beach outfit was advertised with the slogan "Bikini - divided by an Atom!" Celebrating World Bikini Day does not involve pompous events with pretentious speeches. World Bikini Day is held to once again remember the creators of the swimsuit and interesting facts related to the history of its appearance. The holiday is not celebrated in Islamic countries, where women take water procedures in closed suits - burkinis. And residents of Europe, the USA, Canada and other countries of the world annually pay tribute to the celebration in honor of an important part of the beach wardrobe - the bikini.
A loud-speaking person has a loud, ear-piercing voice. According to others, such people have a tinned throat. They tirelessly and loudly, like the gods from Olympus, broadcast everything that comes into their heads. An unusual and cheerful holiday has been established in honor of the ability to speak loudly, shout or laugh. Tinned Sip Day is celebrated annually on July 5th. The character in Gianni Rodari's fairy tale "Gelsomino in the Land of Liars" had an unusually clear and powerful voice. Its magical properties included the ability to destroy everything around - brick walls, window glass and mirrors. Gelsomino's voice caused people's eardrums to burst. If, in honor of the holiday of July 5, a competition was held for the loudest vocals, then the literary hero D. Rodari would probably win it. An analogue of the colloquial expression “tinned throat” are the phraseological units “trumpet voice” and “trumpet of Jericho”, which give the speech a pompous tone. In literary works they are used to convey admiration for a person’s loud voice. The colloquial expression “tinned throat” comes from the verb “tin” - to cover the surface of metal products with a layer of tin that protects from oxidation. In Rus', samovars, coffee pots, teapots and boilers were tinned. “Tinned” (from the German loden - “to solder”) means protected from corrosion. Before applying a Khokhloma-style pattern to wooden utensils, its surface was covered with drying oil and then treated with tin. Therefore, “tinned” is also a sign of quality and durability. The use of colloquial “gulp” together with the adjective gives the meaning of the expression a colloquial and disparaging connotation. The holiday, celebrated on July 5, was established not only in honor of the ability to tirelessly and loudly shout, speak or sing. The expression "sweet throat" is often used to describe people who can drink large quantities of alcoholic beverages and remain sober for a long time. Hot drinks at 40 degrees or higher should burn the larynx and cause discomfort. However, if a person has a tinned throat, i.e. somehow protected from the alcohol burn, he easily takes large amounts of alcohol onto his chest. The history and purpose of establishing this funny celebration are unknown, as are the traditions of its celebration. Therefore, some people on July 5th already in the morning begin to loudly sing roulades and shout loudly on the street, greeting their acquaintances from afar. Others go to cafes and bars, where they enter into competitions in drinking strong drinks without consequences for the larynx with people like themselves who have tinned throats.

Evseyev Day according to the folk calendar is celebrated on July 5 (June 22 according to the old style). The holiday is named after Eusebius of Samosata, the bishop whose memory is celebrated by the Orthodox Church on this date. Eusebius lived in the 4th century in the territory of modern Turkey, in the city of Samosata. As a bishop, the saint strengthened the Orthodox faith among his parishioners, and he spoke for it at the First Ecumenical Council, held in the city of Nicaea. Eusebius was defrocked several times by heretical rulers who came to power, but he continued to support Orthodox Christians even in exile. The second name of the date was Ulyanin Day, named in honor of the Christian martyr Juliana, who died for her faith in the Savior at the hands of the pagans. The date was dedicated to the long-awaited meetings of lovers. According to legend, on the eve of Evsey's Day, Ulyana looked at the flowering water lilies by the river, did not hear the call of her beloved Ulyana, and when she realized it, she had already missed him. That same day she went to look for him along a different path and finally the meeting took place. Among the people, this date was dedicated to everyday work: some worked in the gardens, others mowed hay, others were busy with the housework. There was a tradition on Evseev's day to go to collect cat's nap - grass, sometimes called bathing suit, and prepare it for the coming day of Agrafena Bathing (July 6). Cat's nap, along with other herbs, was woven into brooms and used for bathing procedures. Also on Evseyev Day they cleaned wells. However, during cleansing, they listened to some signs. It was forbidden to clean the well in the rain or to allow a pregnant woman to clean it, otherwise the water could spoil. You shouldn't eat near the well, as it could harbor toads. To keep the water clean throughout the year, a little consecrated water was added to the well. If you noticed moisture on the cobblestones on Evseyev Day, you prepared for an imminent thunderstorm. Rain on this day promised a bountiful harvest in the fields. They also expected increased productivity if they saw a clear moon in the sky. Birds bathing in the ground signaled the approach of inclement weather. The hot weather on Yevsey foreshadowed severe frosts at the beginning of winter.
