Teenagers most often engage in risky sports. The craving for adventure increases in children between 9 and 14 years old and reaches a peak at 16-18, which is explained by hormonal changes in adolescence. Active leisure activities for young people include roofing (moving around the city on protruding parts of buildings), parkour (high-speed overcoming of obstacles by jumping) and digging (exploring tunnels, mines, caves, underground rivers and communications).
