Day of the Military Signal Officer in Russia (Day of the Signal Troops of the RF Armed Forces)

The Day of the Signal Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation appeared in the calendar of significant dates in 2006. The holiday is dedicated to the formation on October 20, 1919, by order of the Revolutionary Military Council, of a separate structure that is part of the Red Army. Thus, the military communications service, which was actively in demand during the Civil War and during foreign intervention, received the status of an independent formation.
