According to the folk calendar - Lukov day

Every year on September 20, the Orthodox Church celebrates the day of remembrance of the Great Martyr Sozont and St. Luke. Popularly, September 20 was called Onion Day; this is connected not only with the veneration of St. Luke, but also with the fact that the time had come to collect onions from the fields. This day was considered favorable for witchcraft; healers used bows to make healing potions, amulets, remove damage and heal from various ailments.
