On this day the Orthodox Church remembers the Apostle Codratus and the Great Martyr Hypatius. Traditionally, this day was associated with work on the land, so it was necessary to work in gardens and fertilize the land. It was also believed that if you behave viciously and lazily on this day, then there will be little money in the family, and if you work hard and a lot, you will charmingly become rich.
