Holidays 7 september
Aquaculture enterprises breed fish, mollusks, crustaceans and echinoderms in artificially created ponds and on marine plantations. Their activities contribute to the conservation of the planet’s aquatic biological resources. Thanks to fish farmers, stores always have algae salads and shrimp, tilapia and pangasius, mirror and scaly carp, bream and sturgeon at an affordable price. A holiday has been established in honor of professionals involved in aquaculture. Every year on September 7, Russia celebrates Fish Farmer's Day. The development of aquaculture ensures the country's food security by satisfying the population's needs for animal products. In artificially created conditions, not only sea but also river fish species are grown: eel, pike, catfish, crucian carp, trout. All of them are a source of easily digestible protein, vitamins and unsaturated fatty acids. Thanks to fish products, the human body receives iodine, copper, manganese, zinc and other trace elements, as well as minerals: calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, potassium, sodium, etc. This has a positive effect on well-being, the condition of joints and bones, heart and skin cover. Eating fish increases life expectancy. According to scientists, the presence of herring, herring and mackerel in the menu is a key factor leading to longevity. Fish is constantly present on the table of residents of Costa Rica, the Japanese island of Okinawa, Chinese Hainan, Greek Ikaria and Italian Sardinia. Thanks to this diet, among the population of these regions there are often people who have reached the age of 90. The initiator of the emergence of Fish Farmer's Day was the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. The date of the holiday was not chosen by chance. On September 7, 1829, Vladimir Pavlovich Vrassky was born - a Russian ichthyologist and the founder of domestic industrial fishing. Scientists developed a “dry” method of artificial fertilization and incubation of eggs, which gave 100% results. V.P. Vrassky built a pond in 1856 and opened the first fish hatchery, which operates in the village. Nikolsky, Novgorod region to this day. Humanity has been practicing aquaculture for thousands of years. About 3,750 years ago, the inhabitants of the Middle Kingdom bred some species of fish on an industrial scale. A manual on their cultivation, written by the Chinese Fan Li in 599 BC, has survived to this day. Today, thanks to hatchery stations, the numbers of congeners, salmon, cod, carp, tilapia, trout and other fish species are increasing. Shrimp farming plays an important role in global aquaculture; in 1997, the harvest amounted to a record 700 thousand tons. The peak of development of fish farming in Russia occurred in the 80s. XX century Every year, industry development indicators increased by 10-15%. During this period, advanced technologies, systems and farming principles were introduced into fish farming. By the end of the 90s, the production of aquatic biological resources decreased by 4 times. In order to revive the industry, expand related industries, and encourage small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, the Law on Aquaculture was adopted in July 2013. The development of commercial fishing is also facilitated by a government support program. It pays much attention to specialists working in the highly profitable agricultural sector of Russia. A holiday was established in their honor in 2018. The celebration promotes the development of domestic aquaculture, increases prestige and emphasizes the social significance of the fish farming profession.
Music is one of the oldest forms of human creative activity. Among the tom-toms, bells, castanets, timpani and tambourines, the drum occupies a special place. This instrument is used by shamans and performers of academic music, drummers of rock bands, military ensembles and orchestras.
In 1987, at the request of the World Association for Orphans and Children Left Without Parental Care, World War Toy Destruction Day was established. It is proposed to replace pistols, swords, sabers, tanks, batons, handcuffs and knives with peaceful toys - dolls, soft and sports toys, construction sets, board games and sweets. On September 7, 1988, World War Toy Destruction Day was celebrated for the first time and received international status. The world's attitude towards this day is ambiguous. And the opinions of psychologists regarding the conduct of such actions are divided. Some argue that military-themed toys from childhood incite a child to be aggressive towards friends, parents and animals, and form a light attitude towards death in the mind. Others, recalling children's war games, argue that pistols, sabers and spears are just innocent attributes of children's fun and do not cause any harm to the mental state, do not cause hatred of all living things among participants in courtyard battles. They see the root cause elsewhere. The aggressive behavior of modern children is associated not with toys, but with meaningless, with an abundance of creepy murder scenes, films and bloody computer games. And even seemingly harmless cartoons, mostly American-made, where characters can endlessly beat and kill each other, and then appear unharmed, make a child want to do the same with his peers. He ceases to realize the value of human life. Of course, when a child is brought up on such films and games, he begins to behave hostilely, using military toys as an instrument of aggression. But for a child whose worldview has not been spoiled by similar products of the cinema and animation industry, military toys help develop strength, accuracy, dexterity, teach him to protect the weak, love his homeland and stand up for himself. Military glory and valor are integral to military action using weapons. And if a child dreams of serving in the army or becoming a border guard, there is nothing wrong with playing with a toy imitation weapon. There have always been military toys, but children’s attitude towards them has now changed. Unfortunately, the moral guidelines of the younger generation have changed from heroes of the Great Patriotic War and police officers to heavily armed bandits and gangsters. This changes the plot of children's games. Adults should not take World War Toy Destruction Day formally. This is an occasion for parents to think about what games and toys their child has and what kind of mood the video content provided to him evokes in him. It is urgent to save our children and we should start by reducing the flow of negativity on the children’s psyche from television, radio and Internet channels. Basically, it is widely celebrated in the countries of the European Union, where campaigns are organized to replace toys. Brought toys are destroyed in front of the children themselves. Every child can take part in this event. In anticipation of this day, stories about the dangers of military toys are widely broadcast on television. Posts are being circulated on social networks and signatures are being collected under petitions about the dangers of military computer games. Thematic exhibitions of children's drawings and crafts are held, and children can write poems and essays.
Google was created in 1988 thanks to the efforts of friends Larry Page and Sergey Brin, the developers of the search engine, which over time became the most popular in the world. The holiday appeared in 2010 thanks to the initiative of one of the company’s employees as a way to perpetuate in history projects that were undeservedly forgotten or are no longer being developed.
For centuries, man felt like the king of nature, without thinking about the consequences of actions to transform it. The 21st century has become a time of taking measures to combat environmental problems of a global nature. One of them is pollution of the Earth's atmosphere.
It is sad and at the same time pleasant to remember the three months of vacation that have flown by - vacations are usually full of interesting acquaintances, long trips and adventures. Summer is also a time for vacations. This means that adults, like children, have something to tell their friends, relatives and colleagues about.
Brazil is a country with an extremely interesting and, one might even say, intriguing history. People live here who enjoy every little detail of every new day. Stunningly beautiful carnivals with an audience of millions are held here every year. But even in this “cheerful” state, not everything went as smoothly as many of its citizens would like. This significant date is celebrated on September 7th. Historically, Brazil made attempts to win its independence back in the eighteenth century, when all centralized power belonged entirely to Portugal. And all the expensive and highly sought-after goods that were produced and grown in Brazil were sent for the most part to English shores. In fact, the world-famous Napoleon played a decisive role in the fate of the country. He entered into a bloody war with the King of Portugal, and the latter had to flee with his entire royal court to Rio de Janeiro. It was this most important factor that really contributed to Brazil gaining partial independence. Soon the Portuguese ruler decided to leave the Brazilian territories and went back to Europe, leaving his blood son Pedro as governor. It was he who proclaimed the complete independence of the Kingdom of Brazil on September 7, 1822. Pedro the First (as he called himself) was immediately crowned and immediately began a strategy for the prosperity of his lands. He also developed the first constitution for his country in the shortest possible time. This is truly the brightest day of the year for the vast majority of Brazilians. Moreover, it has been declared an official day off (at the level of the head of state). Grandiose celebrations are held everywhere, in which all Brazilians (both children and old people) take part without exception. Every year on this day large-scale parades are held, in which both the head of state and the entire ruling elite of Brazil take part. National flags are flying everywhere, which adds even more solemnity to this event. Since people in Brazil love to dance and sing, during the holiday you can see dancing couples and singers with national instruments everywhere. In general, everything looks quite harmonious and solemn at the same time.
Americans dedicate holidays not only to certain events, but also to certain dishes or products. At the beginning of autumn, namely on September 7, a holiday called Salami Day takes place throughout America. Since its inception in 2006, the holiday has become so popular that it is celebrated in all states. It all started as a joke when two girlfriends decided to create a Society of Salami Admirers. The girls' names were Christina and Virginia, they were originally from the city of Henrico, which is located in the state of Virginia. They were joined by other lovers of this sausage delicacy and, after some time, it was decided to celebrate a holiday dedicated to salami every year. The date for it was September 7, since it was on this day that the Society of Sausage Lovers was created. How is Salami Day celebrated? Since this is a gastronomic holiday, it is celebrated at the table, and salami becomes the main treat. In addition to the fact that there is a plate on the table with thinly sliced sausage rings of various varieties, salami is also found in the dishes themselves, for example, in sandwiches, pizza, and meat sauce for spaghetti. If anyone doesn’t know, the name salami itself comes from the Italian word “sale”, which in Russian means “salt”. For the first time, the idea of creating salami came to the minds of Italian peasants, who thus wanted to preserve meat supplies for the winter. In the United States, salami became famous after the country was filled with immigrants from Italy. Sausage is prepared from meat with the addition of fat, salt and spices. In addition, cognac or wine can be added to the recipe, which improve the taste of the sausage. The meat along with the fat is minced through a meat grinder, mixed with the remaining ingredients, after which the sausage mass is stuffed into the casing. The sausage is hung to ferment and dry. At the very end of this cycle, a whitish coating should appear on the sausage. This is a special type of mold that extends the shelf life of salami even at room temperature. If you are crazy about the original taste of salami, then take the opportunity on September 7 to enjoy the taste of your favorite product!
Every year on September 7, Armenia celebrates the Day of the Engineering Troops of the Armed Forces of Armenia. The holiday currently has professional status, and was established by order of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia in 2000 in order to encourage and emphasize the importance of the engineering troops in the role of protecting the national security of the country and preserving its integrity. The holiday is dedicated to the date of completion of the formation of the engineering unit of the Armed Forces in 1992. These troops conduct reconnaissance operations in order to clear mines from strategically important areas, carry out work on the construction of fortifications, explosive and non-explosive barriers, shelters, and arrange pontoon crossings, thereby ensuring safe escort of troops on the offensive. Another important task of the engineering unit is to carry out humanitarian work to clear mines from border areas that are recognized as dangerous to the lives of the civilian population. The troops take part in studying world experience in the field of mine clearance and introduce new technologies aimed at creating modern engineering equipment, and participate in peacekeeping operations around the world. To carry out all the strategic and tactical tasks assigned to the engineering troops, they have various units: pontoon, road, engineer and other equally important units. Military personnel and employees of this branch of the military, as well as former employees and cadets, take part in the festive events dedicated to the Day of the Engineering Forces of Armenia. On anniversary dates, in a solemn atmosphere, distinguished military personnel are awarded awards, insignia, new ranks, given extraordinary leave, and given memorable gifts. On this day, they also remember the fallen soldiers who gave their lives for the glory of their country and ensuring peace in the Armenian land.
Every year on September 7, the holiday of Titus the Deciduous is celebrated - the day when the Orthodox Church honors the memory of the apostle of seventy, a disciple of St. Paul. The name of the celebration is associated with leaf fall, which usually began on September 7th. Another name for the holiday is “Griborost”, meaning the completion of the mushroom harvest. "Titov Day" is the last day of mushroom picking. It is believed that tomorrow they will not be suitable for pickles. It was on September 7 that mushroom pickers tried to finish harvesting. Agricultural work continued - peasants threshed grain and picked berries. The beginning of leaf fall meant the approach of the first frost, so people collected rowan so that it would not lose its healing properties. They picked the berries in whole bunches and hung them in a cool place. On the holiday of Titus, everyone did their own thing: women, children and old people picked mushrooms, and men threshed grain. Rural craftsmen tried to weave as many baskets as possible for the Day of Deciduous Fall. Usually they went to the forest early in the morning, before sunrise. You should be quiet in the forest, otherwise the mushrooms can send a person down the wrong path. It’s not for nothing that September 7th is called “silent hunting”. Even a loud conversation can anger the local inhabitants dozing in the depths of the forest. You should especially beware of Borovichki - forest spirits living under mushroom caps. A disrespectful attitude towards forest gifts can turn into a curse for a mushroom picker. It is better not to pick inedible mushrooms unless necessary. The holiday helps determine what the coming winter will be like. If there is a lot of grain on the ears, it means it will be cold and have little snow. A rich mushroom harvest indicates a long winter, which can last until mid-April. Based on the nature of leaf fall, it was possible to predict the weather for the near future. Leaves falling face up indicate imminent frost. If the leaves meet the ground “face to face”, the warmth will last until December. To preserve youth and health, the ancestors performed a special ritual. It is necessary to lower a silver object to the bottom of a container of water for several hours, and in the evening to wash with this very water. People believed that water acquired healing properties.
