Holidays 5 october
Every person certainly remembers one or more teachers or lecturers throughout his life. He remembers the lessons that he was taught, situations from which he was helped to get out of with dignity, dialogues or conversations from which this person learned something very valuable for himself, thoughts that arose in communication with the teacher. Teachers are those people who teach us to live, think, correctly use the information available to us, load memory, develop imagination and form the basis, the foundation of erudition, develop intelligence, aesthetic tastes. Ever since school, we remember interesting emotional lessons in which we learn something interesting, bright, something that impresses us for the rest of our lives. Unfortunately, in our country the teaching profession is not highly paid - although socialization and the whole basis of any human character help to form these people - teachers and professors. World Teachers' Day is celebrated on October 5 - in addition to historical background, the day was also chosen based on the dates of the holidays. It is important that the Teacher's Day holiday does not fall on either the winter or spring holidays in different hemispheres of the Earth. On this day, festive events are traditionally organized where representatives of this profession can exchange experiences, thoughts and aspirations. In our country, concerts for teachers, forums, conferences and seminars are organized. Many countries, such as Ukraine and Belarus, celebrate Teacher's Day on the first Sunday in October. It is believed that the historical date due to which Teachers' Day is celebrated on October 5 is the day of the conference in Paris - October 5, 1966. On this day, the question of the status of teachers was raised for the first time, and the problems of their work were discussed. But teachers began to celebrate October 5th as a day only in 1994. So Russia, until recently, celebrated Teacher's Day on the first Saturday of October. But the holiday soon became a date of international celebration. Few people think about how dangerous the teaching profession is. After all, due to the nature of their work, teachers have to deal with viral infections and other diseases. How often do teachers get infected from their students and get sick? There are statistics on teacher mortality, and they are not encouraging. Thus, the teaching profession is a rather dangerous and difficult profession. Let's not forget about this when, due to the will of the situation, we have to go into a conflict situation with one teacher or another.
The celebration appeared on the calendar in February 1994. October 5, by decision of the State Council, is a non-working day. In honor of the holiday, residents of the republic take part in concerts, exhibitions of masters of decorative and applied arts, fairs and other events.
October 5th is the Day of Farewell to Flying Birds. Once again, watching them leave their native land, you need to mentally or out loud say something good after them. Why give parting words to birds? Because only they know where the spring winters, which they will bring home on their wings. A few special words for the departing birds - there is some light romance in this. Of course, not all birds leave their native lands, but only those species that are called migratory. Pigeons, crows, rooks, tits, sparrows, crossbills - sedentary species stay at home. Harsh winters are conditions in which migratory birds simply cannot survive due to lack of food. These species include swallows, orioles, larks, finches, robins, swifts, and cuckoos. Seasonal migration has become a subject of study relatively recently. Just two hundred years ago, people had no idea where birds disappeared in the fall. What fantastic versions have not been put forward. For example, Carl Linnaeus was sure that swallows spend the winter underwater. The most amazing thing is that these were not the words of a stupid, uneducated person, but of a certified physician, a famous natural scientist and the founder of modern biology. In those days, people could not even imagine that small birds were capable of covering such vast distances. Among them there are record holders. The Arctic tern travels the longest distance. She flies 71,000 kilometers between Antarctica and Greenland. The result is more modest for the gray petrel, which leaves its native New Zealand every year to spend the winter in the Aleutian Islands. On this long journey, the bird flies 64,000 kilometers. Our birds also set their own records and winter in Iran, India, Africa, and Iraq. Migratory birds never travel in a straight line. They have their own camps where travelers rest and eat. Typically males and females leave home together, although there are some exceptions. Birds are warned by their biological clock that it is time to leave. Researchers have conducted many experiments that have proven that the desire to go for the winter is inherent in them by nature itself. Some birds were specially kept in captivity in comfortable conditions. They had a lot of food. They lived in a warm place, but with the onset of autumn, their charges began to behave restlessly, because it is impossible to deceive the biological clock. How do they find their way? Scientists do not have a clear answer to this question. Most likely, birds are driven by instinct. Researchers have also studied this issue. They took the eggs of Finland ducks and transported them to another place. The ducklings hatched and lived under human control. They had no contact with their relatives, but with the onset of autumn, the grown-up chicks set off and arrived exactly at the wintering place of Finland ducks, where they mixed with their flock. “Nature has no bad weather,” Alisa Freundlich sang in one famous film. Each season has its own charm, but still, many associate autumn with warm sadness and slight melancholy, when you can think about the eternal with a cup of hot tea in your hands. The golden time of withering comes unnoticed. Autumn creeps in on soft paws under the rustle of falling leaves and the crackle of dry branches. She quietly makes her way into every corner and slowly wins her place on the pedestal of the seasons. Just yesterday it was hot summer outside, but today you can already feel its cold, sharp breath in the air. Nature dresses in red and yellow tones, weightless cobwebs fly around, and birds fly in slender flocks to mysterious “warm lands.” Probably everyone had an irresistible desire to flap their wings and, together with them, go into the unknown in the hope of catching up with the fleeing summer. Alas, we remain at home to wait for spring, and we need to say a few special words to those who have a difficult path ahead. Then they will definitely return and bring the long-awaited warmth on their wings.
The activities of international intelligence agents and the secret mission of spies have always aroused curiosity and genuine admiration among ordinary people. The embodiment of courage, insight, high intelligence and elegance is James Bond. Agent 007 is rightfully considered the most popular spy, whose image was embodied on the screen by stylish handsome Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Timothy Dalton, James Craig and other actors. October 5 is World James Bond Day. The holiday is also called Chic Spy Day because fans associate the legendary agent 007 with a tuxedo, expensive watches, an Aston Martin racing car and spectacular beauties. James Bond is a style icon, a symbol of timeless elegance. An agent on Her Majesty's secret service is always focused on completing the assigned task, regardless of the circumstances and time of day. Therefore, Bond is the epitome of skill and professionalism. The world first learned about this spy in 1953 after the publication of Ian Fleming's book "Casino Royale". The English writer invented 14 novels about the adventures of agent 007, the plots of which formed the basis for 27 films about James Bond. A holiday in honor of the main spy of all times pays tribute to the abilities of a super hero and allows fans to get closer to their ideal. Agent 007 is always in good shape, he is a lover of risk and daring adventures. According to the author of the books, James Bond practices martial arts, loves skiing, and participates in car racing. The British intelligence MI6 spy easily performs various stunts - doing somersaults, jumping off a cliff, driving a Lotus Esprit S1 underwater, landing with a parachute. In honor of Chic Spy Day, extreme sports fans and 007 fans can repeat one of these stunts. Bond's appearance, dressed in a crisp white shirt, is impeccable, as are his taste preferences. Ian Fleming's book character prefers whiskey; in the films, Agent 007 drinks champagne, vodka cocktails with white vermouth, or the classic Vesper with the French aperitif Lillet. The secret to making them is contained in Bond's now iconic phrase: "Shaken, not stirred." Agent 007, played by Sean Connery, smoked up to 70 cigarettes a day. The hero, embodied by Roger Moore, preferred cigars. Therefore, it is customary to celebrate Global James Bond Day with a glass of scotch or sparkling wine in hand. A lit cigar will help you get even closer to the image of a super hero. Chic Spy Day is a great occasion to try on a tuxedo or wear a suit with a shirt and an elegant black tie, feeling like a style icon. In this form it would be nice to go to the casino, because roulette was one of Bond’s favorite pastimes. The Chic Spy's Day should end in the arms of a passionate beauty - agent 007 loves life in all its manifestations, and his main weakness is luxurious women.
The workers' and peasants' militia began searching for and capturing people who committed criminal offenses at the dawn of the emergence of the Country of Soviets. On October 5, 1918, to combat banditry, the Board of the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs of the RSFSR decided to create an operational service called "Tsentrorozysk".
Prostitution was first legalized in Denmark in the 90s of the twentieth century. Today, based on the obtained license, representatives of the oldest profession from Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Greece and Turkey officially work in this field. Eastern European countries, like the United States, do not recognize the sale of one's own body as legal. International Day Against Prostitution, established in 2002, is aimed against the physical, economic and psychological violence of women or men who, under pressure from these factors, go to work in brothels and strip clubs. International Day of No Prostitution calls for respect for free will and a rejection of the stigmatization of trading one's body. Prostitution is an industry that pays dividends for pimps, priestesses of love, brothel owners and many other people. In countries where this type of business is legal, brothels are often drug dens, places where visitors engage in illegal gambling. This means that prostitution is always, in one way or another, connected with crime, incl. - with the slave trade and pedophilia. Directly related to this area of activity is coercion to engage in homosexuality. The state is trying to compensate for the decay of moral and moral norms in the form of free trade in the body by caring for the priestesses of love and their clients. Thus, in Italy, moths working in the dark are required to wear reflective vests. In Austria, they must register, undergo periodic medical examinations and pay taxes like other law-abiding citizens. Clients of prostitutes in Germany are required to use contraception to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. In the Netherlands, the rights of disabled people to have sex for money have been enshrined in law since 1992. The government pays people with disabilities an allowance of 40 euros to spend on these purposes. Russia is one of the 82 countries in the world that have signed the 1949 Convention for the Suppression of Trafficking in Persons. Responsibility for coercion into prostitution, as well as involvement in this field of activity, is punishable by law - liability under the Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Offenses. Russia is a country with a traditional approach to morality and ethics, where, as in Muslim countries, body trafficking and pimping are prohibited. Day Against Prostitution aims to protect the interests of sex workers - drawing attention to the violence and cruelty to which they are regularly subjected. Today, about 40 million girls and women are involved in this area, who suffer from low self-esteem, traumatic attachment, nightmares, neuroses, alcoholism and drug addiction. The International Day against Prostitution calls on modern society to prohibit sexual exploitation, stop treating people as a commodity and consider the trade in bodies to be the norm.

Orthodox holidays on October 5:
Every year on October 5, the Orthodox Church remembers the prophet Jonah and all the exploits associated with him. The holy prophet was born in the 8th century BC in a small Jewish city located in northern Israel. His mother was the widow of Sarepta, who fed the prophet Elijah during a famine and had an inexhaustible amount of flour. At a very young age, constantly starving, the future prophet Jonah fell ill and died. Grieving from great grief, the widow turned to Elijah with a request to resurrect her son. Elijah placed the body of the dead baby in front of him and began to pray, turning to the Lord to revive the child. After which a miracle happened, and little Jonah returned to life. Jonah grew in love for God, becoming a devout young man. The Lord, for his devotion and piety, gave Jonah the gift of providence. While still very young, Jonah became a devoted student of Elisha, and after the death of his teacher, he took his place in the service at the royal court. However, despite his devotion, Jonah once had the courage to disobey the Almighty and, instead of going to the pagan city of Nineveh, where he was supposed to guide the wicked inhabitants of the city on the true path, he set sail to Spain. But already at the beginning of his journey a strong storm began, in which there was no chance of salvation. Out of hopelessness, the team of sailors began to cast lots to find out who was to blame for the terrible disaster. When the lot fell on Jonah, he said that it was he who aroused the wrath of God with his disobedience and asked to be thrown overboard the ship in order to save everyone. Feeling strong fear and realizing the power of the Almighty, the sailors fulfilled the will of Jonah and began to pray for their salvation. After the prophet found himself in the water, the storm immediately subsided, and the crew of sailors, having witnessed this miracle, accepted the Christian faith. According to legend, the Lord ordered the whale to swallow the saint; finding himself inside the whale, Jonah continually prayed to God for his forgiveness. Three days later, the Lord forgave the prophet for his disobedience and now ordered the whale to rescue him ashore. Safe and sound, Jonah followed Nineveh with a prophecy that said that if the inhabitants of the city did not repent within forty days and accept faith in the Lord, their city would perish. The words of the prophet so impressed all the people that they repented of everything and accepted a strict fast, thereby saving their city and themselves. On this day, festive liturgy is read in all churches and the memory of the holy prophet is honored. On this holiday, you should never swear or think badly about your loved ones, but rather offer help to those in need, showing all your love for your neighbor. According to the folk calendar, this day was considered the beginning of late autumn, when all the leaves from the trees were supposed to fall. We watched the wind especially carefully that day, being careful of strong hurricanes. Even if a strong wind rose, it was impossible to scold or curse it, as it could bring trouble, especially to fishermen or fish traders. Also on this day they wondered about the future weather; if there were few cones hanging on the spruce trees and the fox birch trees had not yet fallen, the winter would be warm and there would be no early snow. But if on this day the birds flew south, then this is due to early snow, which will fall on Pokrov.
