However, it was Gottlieb Deimer who registered the patent before him. He, along with Wilhelm Maybach, are considered the creators of the first motorcycle with an internal combustion engine. Today, more than 40 million units of motor vehicles are produced in the world. On-road and off-road vehicles are represented by superbikes, cruisers, motards, minibikes, trials, supermotards and other types of motorcycles. Achievements of engineering and craftsmanship include BMW, Kawasaki and Harley-Davidson. They are used for normal riding and competitions. For cross-country motorcycle racing, the preferred models are the Honda CRF250R, Suzuki RM250 and Yamaha YZ250.
