According to the folk calendar - Ecumenical Women's Name Days, Faith-Hope-Love

This date is considered to be a holiday not only for women bearing the names Vera, Love, Nadezhda and Sofia, but also for all representatives of the fairer sex. The latter fact is associated with the wide distribution of these names. Traditionally, this day was spent with family and children. Girls were especially pampered on September 30, keeping in mind their difficult female lot.
