Holidays 29 september
The number of deaths from cardiovascular diseases increases every year. This is due to an incorrect lifestyle, an irresponsible attitude towards oneself and the people around you, bad habits, eating low-quality foods, etc. In order for all of humanity to pay attention to this problem, the UN, WHO, and UNESCO decided to create a special day dedicated to the problems of heart disease in people around the world. The initiator of the creation of the “holiday of the heart” was the VFS. This is a federation that studies diseases of the cardiovascular and autonomic systems, developing methods and drugs for their treatment. The Chairman of the WFU made a proposal to allocate one day a year to the holiday back in 1999. The unexpected initiative was supported by all meeting participants. In 2011, the annual date of the holiday was set - September 29. The WFS has precisely defined the goals and objectives of World Heart Day: 1. Focus on the increasing danger to the population caused by the sharp increase in the number of heart diseases in recent decades. 2. Carry out annual activities necessary to prevent coronary heart disease and strokes. 3. Control the causes of cardiovascular diseases and conduct educational work among the population to eradicate them. We are talking about the use of tobacco and alcohol. 4. Development of programs to educate residents of third world countries about the dangers of heart disease. WHO and the WFS believe that dieting, exercising and controlling bad habits can save the lives of millions of people on the planet. According to them, in 1 year, heart disease causes the death of more than 15 million people. This is a big number. Reducing it is the main task of all festive and preventive events on September 29. On this day, cardiologists around the world hold conversations with the population about the rules of living without harm to health, organize scientific conferences with colleagues, where they share their experience and their own achievements in the field of preventing heart disease. VFS annually sends a scientific and educational team to countries with low living standards to inform the population about the dangers of smoking, alcohol and poor lifestyle on heart health. Hunger and poor quality drinking water are the main sources of heart problems in such countries. Scientists and doctors turn to the governments of these states with petitions and declarations to improve the quality of life of the population. Our country is not one of the disadvantaged countries with a low standard of living, but the number of deaths from cardiovascular diseases is growing every year. On September 29 of every year, you have the opportunity to start your life anew and time the event to coincide with this date. Pay attention to your family's nutrition, play sports, quit smoking. This way you will help yourself and those around you get rid of a large number of diseases, including heart diseases.
Every person several times in his life has to seek help from an ENT specialist - this is a doctor who treats the throat, ear or nose - the full and correct name of this doctor is otolaryngologist. Unfortunately, today more and more people need the help of doctors. The environmental and man-made situation in large cities is not conducive to the birth and development of a healthy generation, which is why the specialty of these and other doctors is very important and in demand in our society. The compound word otolaryngologist is translated as ear - otos, nose - rhinos and larynx - laryngos. When we enter the clinic, there is always a line in front of this doctor's office. Not surprising, because it controls the health of the organs that are responsible for a person’s very first perception of the world. We experience this world by smell, we taste it. And we interact with each other using speech. Few people think that disruption of at least one organ for which the ENT is responsible can affect the overall physical development of a person as a whole. Thus, hearing loss can have a negative development on a child - after all, a person will not be able to reproduce sounds, and therefore independently master speech. And throat disease often contributes to loss of voice. And only the work of specialists can return such a person to normal life. Every person wants to breathe freely deeply, swallow food or saliva without experiencing pain, and perfectly hear the sounds of the world. So we go to the ENT specialist if suddenly something goes wrong in our body. The medical profession is very important in the development of a healthy and successful society; teachers and doctors have long been considered the most respected people in any locality. As for the specialization of otolaryngologists, the history of the development of their profession goes back to ancient Egypt; even at that time, cases of inflammation of the middle ear were described. Otolaryngologist Day in Russia and other countries of the former USSR is celebrated on September 29. On this day, doctors arrange entertainment for themselves, often holding seminars in cities to exchange experiences or to learn new technologies and methods of working with patients. Now the pharmacology industry has stepped far forward and modern medicines have come to the aid of ENT specialists: antibiotics, painkillers. But, nevertheless, thanks to the skills of these doctors, a person normalizes his organs of hearing, smell or articulation. Today, ENT helps even get rid of snoring.
On September 29, a funny and at the same time romantic Day of Autumn Loneliness is celebrated. Transitional seasons of the year often contribute to the creation of internal discomfort, causing loss of strength and depression. Pushkin wrote: “...I don’t like spring; the thaw is boring to me; the stench, the dirt - in the spring I’m sick...” And autumn, with all the riot of colors, is not particularly conducive to joy and fun. It's getting colder, the days are getting shorter, and it's raining. Nature is preparing to plunge into winter sleep. Inclement weather literally pushes a person to internal immersion and leisurely reflection on the meaning of life. Autumn Solitude Day is ideal for this, as it becomes a kind of date with your own soul. Sublimation is most often characteristic of introverts and individuals with a fine mental organization. They are the ones who are prone to endless soul-searching, internal tossing and searching for meaning alone with themselves. The soothing rhythm of rain and the rustling of fallen leaves underfoot relieves stress and has a calming effect, helping to achieve internal integrity. Therefore, it is better to spend the Autumn Loneliness Day in nature, away from the flow of information, turning off your phone and other gadgets. Observing the sky and clouds will prompt philosophical or romantic thoughts even for the most inveterate skeptic. This is how the poetess G. Belousova reflects on the inextricable connection between nature and the inner state of man. This topic is often raised in poems, both classics and contemporaries. Despite the fact that man is a social creature, from time to time he needs a break from society. Psychologists say that from time to time each of us needs to be alone with ourselves. A person gets tired of close attention, exchange of information, assessments of actions by others, etc. Conscious solitude refers to the self-regulation mechanisms of a mature and self-sufficient person. However, the situation must be kept under control so that the relationships with other people do not collapse. We must remember that loneliness is when the key in the door is on the outside, and solitude is on the inside. A person’s home is his fortress, that is, a place of power. If this is the case in your case, then September 29 can be spent in a chair with a cup of tea listening to your favorite music or in absolute silence. Conscious solitude often helps to bring yourself together, achieve inner harmony and balance. Therefore, each of us should, if not celebrate, then at least simply pay attention to the Day of Autumn Loneliness.
On September 29, the famous Russian rock band “ChaiF” celebrates its birthday, which throughout the history of its existence has released many songs that have become real folk hits. Many people remember their “Orange Mood” and “Nobody Will Hear”, but perhaps most of all the band is remembered for the composition “Argentina-Jamaica 5:0”, in which lead singer Vladimir Shakhrin drawlingly sings the heartbreaking phrase “what a pain”. Let's dive into the history of the Ural rock band together and find out how that famous song about the suffering of Jamaican fans was written. The history of the rock band dates back to 1975. At that time, still a schoolboy, Vladimir Shakhrin, together with his classmates, created his own group called “Spots”. The boys then listened to the hits of the real “dinosaurs” of rock - “Rolling Stones”, “T. Rex", "Creedence". The guys often gathered for rehearsals, and a year later their team was replenished with one more member. They were not limited to just “garage” gatherings and performed on stage, where they performed compositions of their idols. After graduating from school, the guys kept the band and continued to play at dances, but it didn’t work out. Life scattered them, Shakhrin went into the army, and upon his return he became friends with Oleg Reshetnikov and Vadim Kukushkin, who at that time were only 17 years old. They also dreamed of having their own musical group. Shakhrin had already shown the gift of writing, and he wrote his own songs, being inspired by the work of “Zoo” and “Aquarium”. The new group performed at a local cultural center, and one of the members of the first “school” lineup even joined the group. The guys from the young musical group even managed to record their first album, which is not included in the official discography of the group due to its obvious amateur quality. We rehearsed right in the House of Culture. At the same time, the group members worked, but the efforts invested in the creative project finally began to bear fruit. Gradually, aspiring musicians began to acquire fans, and they were increasingly invited to perform. The guys were even interviewed by a journalist who was impressed by Shakhrin’s performance style. Then, during one of the concerts, the lead singer of the group managed to meet the most popular rock musicians of Sverdlovsk. This moment can be considered a turning point in the history of the musical group. September 29 is the day of the first “official” concert, which was held under the name “Chai-F” in 1985. The composition of the group has changed several times over the years. The song “Argentina-Jamaica 5:0” was released in the album “Shekogali”, which was released in 1999. Initially, the composition was not included in it. The album was actually ready, but this song did not yet exist even in the future. This happens quite often with famous hits that are sung by millions - they are created completely spontaneously. In 1998, soloist and one of the founders of the group, Vladimir Shakhrin, was in Paris, just at the moment when the country was hosting the World Cup. He explored the sights, got acquainted with the local culture and walked around the city a lot. During the next promenade near the Eiffel Tower, the musician saw a strange picture that sank into his soul. A group of dark-skinned people sat in the square, beating drums and singing a very sad song in an incomprehensible language, and Argentines danced merrily nearby. On that day, during the World Cup, Jamaica lost to Argentina with a score of 0:5. When Shahrin returned home, he was still impressed by what he saw. The lead singer of the group put his emotions into the words and composed the lyrics of the song. The music was written later. This is how one of the most popular hits of the ChaiF group was born. The idea of writing the text for the composition “Someone Cunning and Big” was inspired by Shakhrin’s children’s drawing of her own daughter, which she was preparing for an exhibition. That was the name of the girl’s creation - she depicted someone’s face of enormous size, which did not fit on a sheet of paper. The daughter's drawing impressed the father, who immediately composed the lyrics for another hit of the group.
International Food Loss and Waste Awareness Day is celebrated on September 29, thanks to an official decree proclaimed by the UN. The purpose of the holiday is to encourage people to take action to avoid food losses and consume food wisely. The reason is this: residents of many countries still cannot afford to eat properly, and at the same time, poverty rates in their places of residence continue to rise. According to recent research, 700 million people in the world do not meet the basic needs of adequate nutrition. This situation is complicated by the economic crisis that many developing countries are going through today. Therefore, one of the priorities stated in the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 is the eradication of hunger on the planet. Will it be possible to achieve this? Governments of all countries of the world and international organizations intend to take urgent measures to ensure that the problem of hunger does not grow to apocalyptic proportions. Some of these measures have already been developed by the Food and Agriculture UN. Among them it is worth noting the following: 1. Cover the nutritional needs of residents of the neediest countries whose poverty rates exceed norms. 2. Support global food trade and food exports. 3. Pay attention to social protection programs for the poor, large families, etc. 4. Encourage small farmers and agriculturists to continue to contribute to food production. In addition, the UN's Global Humanitarian Response Plan is seeking mechanisms to protect the world's poorest people so that the global economic crisis does not end food production in developing countries and lead to the death of their citizens from starvation. To mark this important day for the planet, talk to younger family members about the need to take care of the food they eat. Teach them about the problems of hunger in the world and ask them to handle food wisely so that as adults they do not throw away packages without opening them. In addition, many of us still need to learn to buy only the necessary products and have time to consume them before as they become unusable and are thrown into a food waste container. Despite the fact that today the UN and the governments of individual countries are doing everything possible to mitigate the impact of the crisis on the well-being of the population, factors such as epidemics and other global troubles can interfere with the favorable development of events and increase hunger on the planet. All people on earth must learn to do the following: • Buy only regional products. • Buy only the essentials. • Properly dispose of purchased products placed in the refrigerator and pantry. • Prepare only the amount of food that will be eaten. • Stop buying food in reserve. • Plant your own vegetables and fruits. • Share your harvest with other residents of the locality. Together we will definitely be able to make sure that the situation with hunger on the planet improves, because it is not for nothing that we live in the twenty-first century and know how important the environment on Earth is. It depends only on us what its future will be and whether we will continue to be given the opportunity to inhabit this beautiful planet and live in comfort and prosperity.
